I'd stab myself if I realized I worked at Blockbuster.
I was showing one of my coworkers how to do something on her computer yesterday, and noticed that she had, like, 8 different instances of IE7 open. I started to explain the whole "tab" concept to her, but then realized that I had just had to explain how to copy and paste to her a few minutes before and just let it go....and this is a "professional" I'm talking about, not some entry level position.

“@BohicaTwentyTwoHow does that equate to teaching kids about gay marriage in schools? It's not like this book, published in 1994, is being turned into national cirriculum. And what's wrong with teaching gay history to high school and college students? Maybe it would help them better understand the diverse world in which they live. Maybe then when they hit the polls, they won't be scared by such fear-mongering rhetoric.

I can blame it on being Christian and Conservative because I know the area and I know people from the area. Does being Christian or Conservative instantly make you stupid? Of course not. But you're talking about a group of students who live in the middle of nowhere with nothing to look at but crops. I would estimate that 30% of my graduating class went right back to the farm and our town is far more white collar than theirs is. This school is actually a collection of several "villages" and is still only around 300-450 students.Needless to say the area is sheltered. Its true middle America. And if the good book says that homosexuality is bad, well then damn it, its bad! That's just the mindset. Go ahead and say I'm stereotyping but if you've lived there you'd understand
