Go teach something worth learning, and you will find yourself making a lot more money.Every doe-eyed 15 year old girl in the world wants to "teach." So you end up with millions of people that aren't particularly smart in any area wanting to teach children American history, or elementary level math. Why pay them $100,000 a year when the next 22 year old kid fresh out of college would love to do it for $30,000-$40,000?Teachers are the only ones besides maybe cops and grocery baggers that feel they are entitled to make some crazy amount of money for doing a job that pretty much anyone off the street can and would do. You don't have to be a genius to pick up a teachers book, memorize your lesson, and then recite that lesson to the class. Hell, most of my teachers would just read right out of the book, or at least reference it in class.
After reading that article I'm feeling kinda blue....
