I'm guessing that the Rodent bought Marvel exactly so it could put all the characters in movies, not because of the comics. It was essentially an intellectual property purchase. If the funny books make some cash, so much the better.

“They're afraid. They know they have to do this in the dead of night when no one is looking or there will be a huge revolt.

That really is the question; what can we do to keep these dangerous people from the public, but how can we ensure their continued access to quality of life?I think until we are capable of genetic modification, we really are forced to impact this man's quality of life.?
If the Iranians gave a damn about the Palestinians, they'd be sending food and emergency aid, not weapons. They're just fanning the flames by enabling the Palestinian militants to continuously draw the civilian population into conflicts with Israel. |

The Onion doesn't really care who it offends. Also, at least The Onion's acknowledges it's satire and humour while Beck is self-deluded and dumbing down america.

You're just as much of an ***** iBleedOrange, Your main argument is "this has to be done." Why? Jsfive, sure comes off harsh but he does have a point. Service is voluntary and there is a deep tradition of nobility and honor in killing other "wrong" people. You are trained to think a death of a soldier is a tragedy; and the death part certainly is - people that surrounded this man will feel their lives changing. What about the soldier part? These guys are trained killers, their job is to go out and KILL other human beings, so their families can suffer. Do you not realize how animalistic this is from any perspective? Do we really need to be fighting these wars or is there a better way?

I've been using PC's for years and have not had a single virus infection to date. As an IT professional, I recognize that the most important deterrent to malware infections is safe browsing habits and discretion. Stupid people that click every pop-up on their casino game sites or porno sites, or who still download music off of Limewire, or who open attachments from email addresses they do not recognize often fall victim to infections. This is not the fault of Microsoft, its the fault of people who lack the knowledge and common sense required to operate a computer competently. |
