I'm with you on that..
My point with the line you quoted was that just like when they ask you to take a BAC test, you can refuse, but they'll still lock you up. Just like when they suspect you have something in your car or house and ask to search, you can refuse but they'll come right back and search it anyway because getting a warrant takes very little time. They are asking the first time out of politeness , more than you really having a choice of whether or not they will get to search your house.!

>Why fight someone because they spit on you? Its silly and it will get you arrested. It's not like this woman coughed on others, then someone hit her.No, she coughed on others then CONTINUED TO DO SO after being asked to cover her mouth. That IS assault right there.Even that was not enough... she had to spit on someone then run for the train door. That's a second assault.Perhaps she's mentally ill and not fit to be out unsupervised... because you just can't go around assaulting people with disease. That's ludicrous. Unless you commit other crimes, I can pretty much guarantee that responding to assault with violence is NOT a convict-able offense in most places, including the US. There's also a possibility for civil action.?
"The complaint asserts that Gloor's communications caused several friends and acquaintances to "block [Swatos] from communicating with her through the social networking site Facebook.""How poorly written. So HE caused her friends to block HER from talking to HER? Jennifer needs to brush up on her editorial skills. |

FTA: "The MPAA’s lobbying effort is in response to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the $800 billion bailout package that included a $7 billion investment in broadband. The measure requires the FCC to recommend to Congress by February how best to revamp American broadband policy."So the MPAA somehow thinks because $7 billion of US taxpayer money is going into broadband, they then have a right to try to filter those very taxpayers? Isn't that kinda like getting shot with the bullets you bought?

It's actually the same price for postage for 1 book as it is for 5 books (and possibly more - I stopped recalculating the cart at 5).. so I'm looking at that option (finding others who want to buy it in my area etc).

you don't understand the situation at allDo you see illicit tobacco dealers and alcohol dealers flooding the streets? Legalizing cannabis would make it unprofitable for the illicit trade... in fact, it would no longer even be illicit. The simple fact that a commodity is illegal inflates its price quite a bit. Most people will end up buying from dispensaries, delivery services or grown their own just for the heck of it. |
