So after you watched Jumper did you sneak into another movie out of spite also?Reminds me of the time I took a girl on a first date to go see Ultraviolet. We shortly left that movie then stopped into a few other movies, each one was worse than the one before. It came down between Date movie and Dave Chappelles Block party. Sadly I ended up sitting through Date movie. I should have realized we were doomed from the start..
So how did they account for these transactions in the books? Did people rely on falsified accounting statements to make investment decisions? Leaving aside the actual case, since it's been discussed to death already, I find it interesting that a self described "anarchist" (real-world definition: wants no government at all) would also be a social worker (the definition of a government employee) married to an "urban planner" (likewise). Something tells me these are the same kinds of people who like to constantly (and dishonestly) conflate capitalism and corporatism. I have to fully disagree with a lot of what you say. There is no reason why everything you talk about - cost, fuel efficiency and alternative fuels can't be worked into F1, ALONG with faster. Heck, in many ways, in racing they go hand in hand.If I can make an engine that is just a big more fuel efficient than the competitor, that means less pit stops, thus results in a better chance to win. Same holds w/ alternative fuels.In the end the Sponsorships provide a very FINAL proving ground that can't be matched in CAD or anything else. Designs that are so cutting edge a computer has no clue, can be tested in reality and the results can be studied.In this end - could this be a big, short term money saver? Sure. But could it also cost Bridgestone a big opportunity to improve in the future and make even more money? Yes.
