It's funny, I read the foundation series a few times and I don't remember the basis of this article, that Seldon founded a religion. In fact, I remember no religion at all.
Similarly, the creation of the Deccan Traps in India could have been the main cause of the K-T boundary and the extinction of the dinosaurs. This Wikipedia article doesn't say exactly that, but Ian Plimer does in his book Heaven and Earth.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%E2%80%93T_boundary# ...

“$100k is nothing if they're basing the value of the items on their original ticket price. Anyone who's been to a department store in the last few years knows that ***** is really only worth $40,000 on a sale day or $32,000 if you have a coupon from the daily paper.

It wouldn't be the first time a shot was created and focused towards women only to sterilize them.!

These are way cuter -- http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30 ...?
in the 80's I grew up in a small shore town on the jersey shore. One day a dead whale washed up, and basically the cheapest solution was to bury it like 50 feet deep in the sand. The next week, the whole town smelled like dead whale carcass. They had to dig it back up and pay for the dump truck to take it outta there. |

@ MFC5200You're right, I shouldn't have generalized all middlemen. My statement was to imply how wrong it is to treat healthcare as any other private enterprise like a supermarket or car dealership. But yes, you are correct mfc5200.On a side note not directed at you I just feel that capitalizing healthcare has proven to be efficient for many and inefficient for some (tens of millions). This means, like other sectors of the economy, there are winners and there are losers. If someone thinks it's ok to have losers when it comes to healthcare, they should reevaluate their morals. The point is, you can't morally treat healthcare as any other private enterprise unless you're admittedly selfish and actually want to go to hell after you die. Again, that's just my opinion.

I played for a few hours last night and was somewhat underwhelmed. While I enjoyed KOTOR and its progeny, and this seems to have most of the good features of that series, the game seems somewhat linear. Maybe I'm not far along enough to give it a fair shake, but it seems like BioWare has decided on a formula -- spin an intriguing story, then mount that story on an all-too-familiar platform. It seems like a good game, but there's nothing revolutionary and nothing game changing here as far as I can tell.

i lost the desire to read the rest of this article, after i got to that line. if the guy doesnt remember that doc was committed in alternate 1985, then he shouldnt be attempting such an indepth analysis of the story as a whole. i consider myself a serious BTTF fanatic |
