While the GOP is still in the doghouse, support for CONSERVATISM is growing rapidly.http://www.gallup.com/poll/121403/Special-Report-I ..."Despite the results of the 2008 presidential election, Americans, by a 2-to-1 margin, say their political views in recent years have become more conservative rather than more liberal, 39% to 18%, with 42% saying they have not changed. While independents and Democrats most often say their views haven't changed, more members of all three major partisan groups indicate that their views have shifted to the right rather than to the left."The Democratic party is suffering a LOSS. The decline in popularity of the GOP simply means that people are less willing to vote the straight GOP ticket, and will consider non-GOP candidates who represent more conservative positions.

Couple of times. Shelby raced Ferraris along with Dan Gurney and Phil Hill during the mid 50s. He was passed over for an official factory spot (Hill and Gurney landed spots on the F1 team) despite winning major races. Then in 1964, Enzo had a race canceled at Monza because he feared Team Shelby would overtake Ferrari in the manufacturer's championship that year. Ferrari took the manufacturer's title by just a couple of points which probably would've went to Shelby had they run at Monza. Shelby of course took the '65 title.!

@mnocket -- I see it as neither victory or loss. I see it as people over-analyzing, over-stating and reading too much into off year elections with small turnouts.
FTA:"One of the biggest obstacles to increasing African exports is the continent's lack of adequate infrastructure, including good roads, educated workers, reliable electricity and stable, honest governments."It's almost always because of corrupt government.
