You people always very conveniently ignore the fact that 3 months before Obama was elected the CBO projected an increase of the national debt to $1.2 trillion. The fact that it is only $1.57 trillion at this point time is only a little bit short of a miracle. The Bush administration devastated this economy by overspending on wars, by failing to put taxes in place to pay for those wars and by working with his friends in industry to give away as much of our nation's treasure as he could get away with. I don't think Obama, in himself, is the savior of our country by any means, but the fact that he is not George Bush or another ideologue like him means that we have a chance.

It's a shame how much Comcast's quality of service differs across the U.S. I live in the Seattle area and have had Comcast internet in four different cities up here over the last 6 years or so, and their service has been nothing but rock solid aside from that DNS debacle that occurred a few years back. I always feel like a POS defending them, but I can't imagine how an ISP could possibly provide any better of service other than faster throughput (which FiOS definitely provides).On a side note, I've noticed that any issues I've ever had with slow internet speeds always has originated from inside my home (something a reset of my router, NIC, Windows, etc. fixed), Did you do any troubleshooting on your side or just assume it was Comcast. It's no excuse for their stupid customer service, but I'm just curious.?
Ya...it seemed like he was staring directly at it. But I guess he didn't notice. Maybe his car felt ignored and was out for revenge. |

You could also blame the Democrats who have the oval office and a majority in both the house and the senate. You could more specifically blame Obama, Pelosi, and Reid for being ineffective...or you could just take the easy way out and blame the Republicans.

Chrysler rested on their laurels after the success of the K-car line. GM? I don't know what they're smoking. They never marketed Saturn or Geo correctly, and killing Pontiac as a brand will probably just drive Pontiac drivers to Japanese companies.(Disclaimer: I currently drive a Honda Accord. But every Pontiac I've ever driven was solid even at 100K+ miles.) |
