Those teachers are the worst ones, by the way. I've been studying education and learning styles for a couple years now, and the students who have the worst "test scores" (which I hate standardized testing) tend to have the teachers who take no interest in actually teaching - all they do is read right out of a book. I, as a teaching assistant, have taught my students more about Biology in one semester than they have learned in their entire lives because I took an interest in them - yet, I'll get paid much less than someone who phoned it in years ago because they got tenure. Do away with tenure, then you'll see that teaching is NOT just "something someone off the street" can do. You don't have to be remotely smart to re-read a book. That's how most teachers teach, and our education system is completely ***** up because of it...most of the students produced can barely read a whole book, balance a checkbook, or make an informed decision about whether or not to buy a product advertised on TV as being the "next miracle weight-loss pill!". To be someone who has made a person better not only in learning a subject, but giving them the tools they'll need to rationally think in the future...that, my friend, takes a special kind of person. No monkey could do that.

ahh...sorry Pakistan is not one of my favorite tourist destinations for now and the foreseeable future.I'll just wait for Paki pride day at the local park.

People need to stop being so uptight.?
As true as the statement is, by saying Muslim Terrorists, they are trying to incite hatred toward muslims, there is no other explanation. I'm not one to preach political correctness, but the way that muslims have been treated these past years because of nutcases and culturally backward idiots in their group giving everyone a bad name, saying Muslim Terrorists is just going to prolong the hate. They could say just plain terrorists and leave it at that, it's accurate and wont cause any problems.

Nobody wants to refuel their laptops. The idea of hydrogen fuel cells are just not well thought through, especially when you consider we still don't have an effective way to store it without it slowly leaking out of its container.

If you're holding onto the notion that you'll use the deficit and the economy to beat Obama come election time I've got news for you. 80% of the country still remembers it was Junior and the Republicans that got the country into this mess. As much as you'd all just like to move on and pretend the last 8 years didn't exist, Junior's spectacular legacy is going to ***** the GOP for some time to come. Darth Cheney taking potshots from the cheap seats ain't helping either.
